I have completed a Mathematics degree at the University of Warwick (1st Class Honours). I am currently working at an independent school, teaching Mathematics to various age groups. My teaching style is friendly and relaxed, and I always encourage pupils to learn from their mistakes.

I am happy to either tailor lessons to your preferred topics or to choose suitable topics myself.

Notable achievements and interests:

I have represented England in the European Junior Chess Championships twice, and currently hold the chess title of Candidates Master. I enjoy performing magic tricks in my spare time, and I am currently learning Japanese.

Experience: I have regularly volunteered with an organisation teaching chess to children. This has given me experience in explaining complicated concepts to children, and ensuring that lessons are engaging.

I have taught in a secondary school for roughly one year, teaching students of various ages and abilities. This was in a maths-based role, where I was responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as providing feedback to pupils.
