Information about Matt
I have worked as a Headteacher from 2017-2023 before most recently moving into a project-based role developing an innovative curriculum as Assistant Headteacher. I have also been an inspctor for ISI from June 2017, and held various positions in SLT across independent schools in Surrey and London.
Before this, I was Head of Maths for three years, Head of History for one, and held class teacher roles teaching Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 at various times.

Experience: I have enjoyed a role in educational leadership and school inspection for many years, and alongside this, knowledge of the 11+ and SATS curricula are important aspects of the role. Delivering this in a one to one tuition context is most rewarding (conflict of interests mean I cannot offer tuition to pupils I teach) and so I enjoy taking on tutoring roles utilising my experience as Head of Maths in schools preparing for scholarships to top independent senior schools, as well as my time as an English and Maths teacher to Year 5 & 6 pupils.
In tuition terms, I have provided input on English and Maths for 7+, 11+ and SATS papers, as well as preparation for Maths scholarships to Eton, Wellington, City of London, Marlborough, Harrow and Winchester amongst others, and GCSE Maths tuition.
