Information about Natasha
EXPERIENCE TUTORING ONLINE (ZOOM AND SKYPE)
I am currently a fifth year medical student at Imperial College London. Aside from my university interests, I am a keen violin player and literary enthusiast.
I have a passion for teaching and have done so for the past 6 years- ranging from KS1 to medical admissions. My friendly and approachable nature allows me to engage with students of all ages- something that I believe is key to teaching.
I achieved 11A*s at GCSE and sat A levels in Biology (A*), Chemistry (A), Maths (A) and Latin (A- highest grade possible). Aside from tutoring at school level, I am keen to encourage and assist with university admissions and widen access and interest towards higher education.
Availability: I am available most weekday evenings and weekends. I am located at W6.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have over 7 years of experience tutoring. I`ve worked with younger students in literacy and numeracy, GCSE students from Maths, English, Sciences and Latin. I also have experience tutoring for Common Entrance and the 11+. I have run medical admissions talks at sixth forms and have held interview workshops. I also have 4 months of experience tutoring for UKCAT and BMAT admissions tests.
I believe my enthusiasm for the subjects I teach is key at engaging my pupils. My flexible, adaptive and patient approach to teaching ensures that I cater to a range of learning needs and abilities. I ensure I don`t progress until the student understands a concept clearly- if they do not, I ensure to alter my approach till they do. I ensure I supplement explanations with questions so that I can monitor how the pupils are progressing.
Feedback For Natasha (1)
Natasha was a great help in my preparation for my medical school interviews, the session was very well planned according to my target universities . This made me feel a lot more confident about such a daunting process.
Also , as an A2 biology tutor she managed to make the most complex topics easy to understand through clear explanations and knowledge of the curriculum. Natasha is an enthusiastic tutor that I would recommend without a doubt.
