I am a recent graduate in English Language and Literature with a 2:1 from the University of Oxford.

I offer English tuition at GCSE and A Level. I also provide tuition in preparation for the 11+, essay writing skills, Personal Statement writing support and Creative Writing at all levels.

The intense academic environment at Oxford provided me with an excellent understanding in a vast range of subjects, from Old English manuscri pt practices to modern literary criticism.

For me tutoring is a great way to continue to engage in the degree that I loved studying and inspire students! My experience of one to one tutoring throughout my degree has taught me what the highest quality of teaching looks like, and this is something I recreate with my tutees.

As a tutor I am engaging, friendly and supportive, with excellent written and spoken communication skills. I am keen to make learning interesting and enjoyable for my tutees. I tailor lessons to my student`s current level, designing a syllabus that will allow them to flourish and achieving their goals.

In 2018 I worked as a classroom assistant in a primary school, providing one-to-one and small group support and encourage students that were struggling to engage with their learning.

Fantastic critical reading and writing skills honed over my time studying at the University of Oxford.

Extensive experience in essay writing and in and longer written coursework projects.
