I`m a friendly, empathetic person and I understand that not everyone learns in the same way so I aim to find a method that suits the individual student. In my experience I`ve found that increasing confidence can have a huge impact on academic success and tutoring is a great way to enable that.

Enjoyment of a subject is almost always hindered if a person is struggling with aspects of it, so a little extra help in that area will often result in discovering that you like a subject a lot more than you had originally thought. I think this prospect of added enjoyment is one of the most valuable results of tutoring, for the teacher and the student.

Availability: Very flexible as my work can be organised around tutoring schedule, if given at least 7 days notice.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: 5 years of part-time private tutoring in mainly in Psychology and Biology at GCSE and A-level. Also willing to tutor GCSE Science.
