I enjoy teaching and am very committed to raising standards. I firmly believe that basics are core to mathematics studies. Students with firm basics have the aptitude to learn and understand further maths. I am of the view, that mathematics teaching should be tailored to meet the needs and abilities of pupils, thus differentiation is an integral part of my lessons. Lessons should be enjoyable, relevant and accessible so that all pupils are able to understand and learn to reason out the steps in solving the questions.

I have taught my daughter and she is now at Nonsuch Grammar.

Willing to adopt to changes, dedicated and cooperative are qualities that best describe myself. I relate well with people from all backgrounds and I am willing `to go the extra mile` to ensure that pupils achieve the best results possible.

I am patient and understanding with pupils to explain their thoughts and way of working out. going through past paper questions and pointing out common mistakes to reinforce the key concepts is key to success.
