I am a qualified teacher and A-level examiner with 18 years’ teaching experience with children and adults with a wide range of abilities and special educational needs. I have also tutored A-Level Psychology for the past 12 years. All of my tutees have outperformed their predicted grade by at least three grade points and those with A or B predictions have achieved A*. My learning programmes are personalised to give each student exactly what they need to achieve their learning goals, and concurrently build their confidence and subject enjoyment.

I have a Master’s of Science with distinction in Applied Psychology and a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am a former Head of Psychology and Head of Sciences in a successful grammar school, University Lecturer for undergraduate psychology, and Lead Practitioner assigned with modelling exemplary teaching and implementing evidence-informed strategies to raise standards and improve student outcomes in A-level and GCSE Psychology across multiple schools. I previously also worked as a Social Psychologist.

Every student deserves to realise their potential. This is my aim and I work with students to identify their specific areas of need and implement a tailored, goal-oriented learning plan to quickly close the gap between their current and desired grade. I am also approachable, empathetic and wholeheartedly believe that learning should be fun and enjoyable to maximise student wellbeing, engagement and progression.
