My sessions are tailed to each individuals needs and are always very thorough and supportive to ensure students reach their desired grades.


My policies:

I am flexible on my tutoring hours. If you are to reschedule your booking I require 24 hours notice or I will have to apply the full charge for the session. It is an extremely busy exam period and there is very high demand for tutoring therefore I must apply this policy consistently.

Pricing:
Negotiable upon request and can be dependent on the length of time of the lesson and number of sessions.


My professional experiences:

As Head of Psychology and an experienced Sociology teacher I have a track record of outstanding results whereby the majority of my students have gone on to study at Russell group Universities including one student now studying Psychology at the University of Cambridge. Her predicted grades were two C`s however with my support and encouragement she developed a strong `can do` attitude and went on to achieve an A* and A grade in Psychology and Sociology.

My Experience:

First class degree in Psychology.
A*AA A Level grades in Psychology, Philosophy & Ethics and Drama.
8 A.B grades at GCSE.

Over 6 years of teaching experience including Head of Department and Head of Year.

Currently leading the department of Sociology at an all girls, outstanding, Catholic school in London.

Three years experience as a Sociology AQA examiner and have marked over four hundred A-level scri pts.

Expertise in teaching Psychology AQA, Edexcel and Sociology AQA.

I am an experienced tutor who focuses largely on exam technique, essay structuring and helping students to secure outstanding knowledge of the curriculum.

My Tutoring Sessions:

I dedicate my time supporting students in achieving the results they desire and take pride in helping them to progress rapidly. I currently work as the Head of Department at an outstanding Catholic secondary school in London. In our recent results days we have achieved over 25% of students securing an A* and A grade, 60% A*.B and 87.5% A*-C grades.

I am currently offering my expertise by delivering personalised online tuition to help students feel supported and really excel with their studies.

I am experienced with the exam board AQA and Edexcel for the Psychology A-level and have also been an examiner for AQA Sociology for three consecutive years.

I have taught students of all abilities, backgrounds and SEN. I have a wealth of resources for both exam boards which I provide my students with in order to promote progression.

I currently use a free platform called Microsoft Teams to tutor online where I can really support students with the content, exam skills and essay structuring.
