My joint honors degree gives me further knowledge into Mathematics whilst learning teaching methods and theories through the Education side of my degree, with many opportunities to use these through placements.
I have had 6 different placements throughout my degree which have seen me teach many lessons and tutor several students through their GCSE`s. Volunteer work has seen me lead and mentor children also and has helped me gain the ability to interact well with children.I was also selected by the University, to teach children 1-1 through workshops as part of an intervention for children on the C-D borderline..
