My name in Joanne and I am a friendly, professional and experienced primary school teacher and tutor based in the Tooting area. I pride myself in having the ability to guide children to reach their full potential encouraging their confidence and helping them to succeed with their learning. I strongly believe that it is important to obtain a good basis for an educated future rather than learning facts just to pass a test.

Over the past 10 years I have observed and supported children’s learning in different ways and therefore design each of my sessions individually to ensure that the children’s attention and imaginations are comprehensively captured to encourage them to excel. To help to achieve this I also include problem solving and extended creative writing within the sessions.

I have achieved excellent results, over the years and would like the opportunity to do the same for your child.

Availability: Evenings 4:00 - 7:00

Experience: A Primary School Teacher with 10 years extensive experience in both Key Stage I and II.

During my time in school I have taken the lead on many subject areas - Science and the Creative Curriculum.

I currently tutor children from Years 2 – 8 in both English and Maths and 11+, Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning. Each session, of no more than four children of the same age and ability, involves a variety of activities which helps to develop their thinking and reasoning skills.
