Information about Claire
I am a mum of two teenage boys with a passion for inspiring a love of learning. I have over 35 years experience in a variety of educational settings and a proven track record of improving pupil performance. It`s important to me that pupils learn more than the subject matter. Pupils build a toolkit for lifelong learning, integrating strategies from neuro-linguistic programming and other methodologies means they develop better focus & concentration, take more learning on board, improve recall, grow in confidence and, most importantly, enjoy doing it.

Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have over 35 years experience in a variety of educational settings and can readily tutor for English and maths across early years to key stage 2 (ages 5 - 12). This includes SATs preparation. I also have experience of tutoring years 3 - 5 (ages 8 - 10) toward the 11+ (secondary transfer test) for both Durham CEM and GL Assessment papers. Finally, I can support preparation for school entry tests.
