My son is in Year 10. He has not done particularly well with his end of year exams these past two years. It is, as you know extremely important that things improve in this area. We are prepared to dedicate time to this on a weekly basis and even twice weekly initially moving to at least once a week for the terms ahead.

He also requires help with exam taking as he seems to suffer from stress and terrible anxiety when faced with any type of test or exam. He does not seem at all motivated at present as he feels there is a mountain to climb to consolidate his knowledge and express it as needed. He wants to achieve and be successful but I think he just doesn’t know how or where to start having missed the entire last term of year 9 and all that teaches. He will not take direction from his parents and needs guidance desperately. Study skills and confidence is so needed.

Please feel free to contact me if tutoring our bright, formally top set young man is of interest to you. We believe he wants to succeed but just doesn’t have the umph, confidence or skills to move forward. He will be in Year 11 in September, turning 16 shortly after the first day of school. He is easily distracted yet respectful and very capable! Help! We have a short few weeks to install confidence in him.

Availability: This summer, 2019 we are available 10am onward. We are allowing him time to sleep in as school time means 6:30am starts.

During term time our son is available for tutoring on Saturdays & Sundays.. If you are close to our home we are happy to bring him to your site but prefer for him to be tutored in our home anytime from 10am onward please.
