Information about Narmeen
I am a recent BSc Psychology graduate from the University of Warwick. I aspire to be a Forensic Psychologist. I completed my A levels in Psychology, Chemistry and ICT. I have completed modules within biology and neuroscience during my undergraduate degree. My professional background is administration, customer service and IT related marketing.
Availability: As I am currently undertaking a part time job as an Operations Assistant, my availability varies and changes everyday. Therefore, I am unable to provide an exact time frame of my availability. I am mostly open to do evenings, however if tutoring sessions are booked well in advanced I can organise my work shifts around the tutoring sessions. On days that I do not work, I am available to tutor sessions any time of the day that suits the student.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school as well as a local religious school. I previously worked for a Norwood centre supporting children with learning disabilities, and I now currently volunteer as a Learning support specialist, teaching children with SEN, adapting lesson plans and activities to deliver weekly stimulation sessions, helping them to understand the content better, according to their needs. Throughout my 2nd and 3rd year I have been a Psychology mentor to new 1st year undergraduates helping them settling in and providing them academic and general support to guide students through their first year, ensuring they had a great experience. In A level Psychology, I used to tutor my classmates with content they were struggling to comprehend with. Overall, I have experience working with children and students, including young people with learning disabilities and special educational needs (SEN).
