Information about Naji
Hello! I`m Naji, a teacher with extensive experience in teaching pupils with a wide range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, OCD, ODD, trauma background and other SEMH needs.
I bring a calm, patient, and empathetic approach to tutoring, focusing on building trust, independence, and confidence through a positive, praise-led style. My goal is to understand each students unique learning style, ensuring they feel comfortable, understood, and relaxed. Lessons are customised to fit how your child learns best, whether through art, writing, movement, visualisation, or traditional methodswhatever supports them best!
In each session, I begin with clear guidance and step-by-step explanations, gradually encouraging your child to take charge independently. This method fosters confidence as they progress, reducing reliance on my input over time.
With a deep knowledge of the curriculum and access to helpful resources, I aim to equip your child with the skills and self-assurance needed to study independently and approach future exams with confidence.

Experience: I have enjoyed the past seven years working with children in a Primary setting, predominantly working in a one-to-one capacity. With an abundance of training to support pupils with diverse learning needs, I`ve become used to adapting my teaching style in a way to best support the individual. I have spent the last six years working in a therapeutic primary school, recently taking on a role as a trainee therapist but still working heavily in teaching children with SEMH needs.
