Hello!
My name is Liam.
I am an experienced primary school teacher. I have a range of experiences teaching children English, Maths, Science and other topics including History etc. I am also an 11+ and SATS tutor. I teach a range of lessons for the 11+ such as: English, Maths, Non-Verbal reasoning and Verbal reasoning. I can teach among a range of exam boards including GL, CEM, and CSSE. Suitable for Bexley and Dartford Grammar schools.

Through my years of experience and my BA Primary Education degree, I regularly adapt and change lessons to suit the needs of the children, acknowledging each individual child and incorporating their personal skills and abilities. I strongly believe in motivating the children to learn through incorporating the children’s personal interests and experiences within the lessons and grow their confidence through learning and interactive educational games.

I offer online or in-person 1 hour sessions.

Availability: I am available Weekday after school and evenings and anytime during the weekend.

Experience: I have completed a three-year course, studying BA (Hons) Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at University of Greenwich. I am passionate about engaging children in their learning and enjoy building a strong connection with children in my class and their
parents.

Due to my multiple experiences of teaching a variety of subjects, including mathematics and English, in a classroom, I am able to explain information clearly, provide correct behaviour management skills and have a professional conduct in the work setting. Throughout my
teaching, I have used and created different teaching techniques and lessons which engage children in unique tasks, to specifically build on each individuals knowledge. I recognise the barriers to effective learning and provide excellent support to diminish those barriers when
teaching.
