Fully qualified and experienced teacher of French and Spanish, with current DBS. KS3, GCSE, Common Entrance, Scholarship, A Level and Adults.
My tutoring experience ranges from helping adults improve their language skills in both French and Spanish for work or travel to preparing young people for entrance exams and GCSE.
I have a good understanding of the needs of young people going through the school system, both private and state. I have traveled widely and appreciate the advantages of good language skills when abroad.
Availability: Available at any time during the day except at weekends.

Experience: I am an experienced teacher of French, mostly at Common Entrance and Scholarship for elite private/boarding schools, and have also taught GCSE and A Level French and Spanish. I have tutored French and Spanish at different levels and to different ages, including preparing for GCSE and A Level, developing listening, reading and writing skills together with spoken fluency. I have also worked with mature learners.

Karin tutored my daughter in GCSE French and my son GCSE Spanish.
She has excellent knowledge of the curriculum and expectations of the exam boards. She covered very effectively all the areas of speaking, writing and listening in the lessons. My children found the
lessons very helpful and very relevant to their school work. I recommend Karin highly as both a French and Spanish tutor.
