Working with children has always been a passion of mine, both academically and socially. I am a qualified Mathematics secondary school teacher with 5 years experience. I am also a Head of Year, currently on maternity leave. I have the experience and ability to encourage those who feel under confident in their abilities in Maths to strive for better, as well as challenging those who are already exceeding their targets.

With regards to previous experience, I was a Centre Director for a tuition centre based in Brixton, London for 3 years. Here, we worked with 300+ families and individualised curriculum for children aged 4-15, however their programmes were based on their academic ability as opposed to age.

I`m a huge advocate for building on children`s confidence levels to ensure they can be they best they can be individually, not necessarily conforming to what they should be doing according to the national levels. Once children become fearless in their learning habits, thats when they can feel confident to give things a go and get things wrong in order to develop further.

Experience: Before qualifying as a teacher, I was managing an education centre for primary school and KS3 ages. We tutored in maths and English. I have been teaching maths in secondary school for 5 years so am experienced in all maths up to GCSE.
