Information about Amos
Apart from general science, computing and mathematics, my other areas of expertise lie in programming and database management systems with a focus in C# and SQL Server. I also enjoy teaching photography as well. My tutoring style is relaxed and patient, sympathetic to getting the scientific and design principals across rather than focusing on the minutiae details once the principles are understood then everything else will begin to fall into place.
Availability: I am very flexible with regards to availability, location and travel arrangements, so feel free to contact me with any specific requirements you may have.

Experience: Since graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor of Sciences, I have over 25 years combined commercial and academic experience in the computing sector, several of which were at Sheffield Hallam University as a visiting lecturer, for the School of Computing and Management Sciences.

Amos has changed my daughter’s personality. She was so worried about her A level maths lessons that she was reluctant to go to school. Knowing she needs an A in maths to get onto the university course she wants we decided to try having a tutor. Although she wasn’t sure about having a maths lesson after a long day at school she has now said she is so glad that we did this. Since Amos has started working with her she has returned to being the happy girl she was before. I can’t thank him enough. He is always punctual and professional but has a fabulous rapport with her.
