I am a QTS certified teacher with experience teaching in Biology and Maths up to A Levels. My academic background is broad and rigorous. I completed a year of Aerospace engineering before deciding that my interests were in the Bio-sciences. I studied up to Masters level completing a research project in Cell Biology. As a student I enjoyed talking and communicating my interests with others. I`ve found Maths an important subject in developing reasoning and logical thinking skills which are vital to any path.

Availability: I am available Mon-Sat evenings and weekends all day.

Experience: I am an experienced Biology and Maths teacher with a friendly approachable manner. I have been a classroom teacher for the past three years. I have a wide and varied background from state schools to special schools to grammar schools. As a teacher, I have ensured that all pupils in my classes made progress taking into account all their needs and abilities. I use a variety of different methods and techniques to make sure pupils develop an understanding, not just rote memorization. I have experience teaching the Mastery and new GCSE/A-Level curriculum. I also have experience teaching Science, Citizenship, RE and KS2 English and Grammar. I am also familiar with 11 plus entrance exams.
