Information about Samuel

I am a dedicated Business Studies teacher with a passion for my subject and a proven track record of obtaining excellent results and student attainment.

Along with a number of subject related qualifications, I have worked successfully in industry and the higher education sector, this enables me to imbed relevant industry context and provide appropriate examples enabling students to obtain higher marks in their exams.

I have attended numerous exam board professional development training programmes and continue to do so and have been appointed as a WJEC/EDUQAS examiner in my subject at GCSE level.

Currently, I am teaching OCR Cambridge Nationals & Technicals so have experience with these specifications.

I am available now and over the summer to help students catch up after lock down and be ready for September.

Availability: Most evenings and weekends, happy to travel further at additional cost.

Experience: I have taught GCSE (Eduqas/WJEC Spec) & A Level (AQA & Edexcel) Business Studies at an outstanding grammar school located in Ashford, Kent and was teaching at the school for five years. I also completed my initial teacher training at the same school. Over the past six months I`ve been at an FE college teaching BTEC at Level 2 & 3 but return to a school environment, teaching OCR Cambridge National Business specification & Cambridge Technicals at Key Stage 5 at an outstanding secondary school in Maidstone.

Samuel has been teaching my daughter for a while now I only wish we had met him earlier. My daughter is very happy with where her A level business studies are heading to. Samuel is clear and explains his topics well. He is articulate and straight to the point. My daughter is pleased with her tutor and most important understanding more. Samuel is a reliable teacher and knows his subject topics deeply. He has been involving my daughter and myself in his explanations. I feel

Sam has been a great tutor for Tom. He has been reliable, friendly and approachable. He has provided great exam preparation and increased Tom`s confidence before his Business Studies iGCSE. Sam has been methodical in his approach, helped Tom organise his revision and provided lots of exam tips. Fingers crossed for a good result!
