Cambridge University graduate with experience in tutoring for over 10 years. Studied piano (DipABRSM, Distinction), violin (Grade 8, Distinction) and composition at the Royal College of Music. Graduated with 2.i and Distinction (First) in GDL/LLB (Hons) Law and LPC at BPP Law School in London.

Please note I can only commit to students on weeekday evenings or, depending on your location, on weekends.

Experience: I am an experienced and successful tutor (for over 10 years) in Piano, Violin, Japanese, English, Law and 11+ exam / university entrance preparation. My client base has grown rapidly based on word-of-mouth referrals and I am currently taking a limited number of new students. I do not offer any free trial lessons.

PIANO AND VIOLIN

I teach all ages, from beginner up to ABRSM Grade 8 level, with emphasis on good posture and technique to prevent later injuries (especially in young children). My students generally achieve Distinction in their exam results.

I can tailor classes to suit various levels and needs. I also have a number of beginner adult learners, who often request less structured lessons, and a few advanced adult students who I meet less frequently for general musical direction and guidance on repertoire.

11+ ENTRANCE EXAMS

I have successfully placed students in top private and grammar schools in London, including: North London Collegiate School, Haberdashers` Aske`s School for Girls, Merchant Taylors, St. Paul`s Girls` School, Westminster School, QE Boys, Godolphin and Latymer School, Lady Eleanor Holles School, South Hampstead High School, City of London School for Girls, and Watford Grammar Boys and Girls Schools.

JAPANESE

I teach beginner to intermediate Japanese to adult learners interested in taking up a new language or in Japanese culture, and also to young children.

ENGLISH LITERATURE

I teach English Literature at GCSE level (I achieved top grades at GCSE and at A-Level). All students so far have gone on to achieve A*s.

LAW

I have taught corporate law, finance law, commercial law, and real estate/property law. As a corporate lawyer, I can offer greater insight into the culture and legal profession as a whole. I am also a mentor at BPP Law School in London, where I gained a high Distinction in my LPC.
