I have been a primary teacher for nearly 20 years, teaching in Bristol, Wiltshire and Somerset. I left full time class teaching in 2015 so that I could concentrate on English and maths tutoring and music tuition, whilst continuing to do some supply work as a way of keeping in touch with schools. I have tutored many students of various ages over the past 5 years, helping to boost confidence in certain areas, as well as preparing for SATs, secondary entrance exams and GCSEs, with a high rate of success.
Last year I qualified as a Mindfulness teacher and am now offering these sessions to older students and adults.

I have two grown up step children and a a 9 year old son, so I can certainly relate to the variety of challenges faced by young people (and parents) as they find their way through school life!

Availability: I am available for tutoring work during daytime and evenings during the week.

Experience: I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 20 years experience of classroom teaching in key stage 2 (7-11 years of age) and one to one tuition with children aged 6 - 16.
