I am friendly and patient and looking to help out young people looking for extra support with their learning. I aim to make my sessions fun and engaging and to ensure a development plan is devised early on so we can make sure we get everything we need to out of our sessions! I found my personal approaches to breaking down content and learning strategies helped me throughout my educational career, I graduated a few years ago from the University of Birmingham with a Human Biology degree, gaining the highest grade in my degree class, I also received top A level and GCSE grades and was granted scholarships to reflect this. I want to pass this knowledge on to you and help you get the most out of your learning, and then teach you how to nail those all important exams!

Availability: I work in the medical communications industry full time but am available in evenings and weekends for tutoring. In the current COVID-19 climate I am happy to be more flexible and to teach over Zoom or similar. Thanks!

Experience: I have experience in tutoring a wide range of ages and backgrounds. I did voluntary tutoring in a school for disabled/special needs children, as well as in primary schools. This was in both maths and english. I also taught students who were underperforming in the run up to their maths GCSE at Darrick Wood school, all passed and some even moved up from the foundation course. I also helped tutor peers in the run up to exams at university. As well as this I have lots of babysitting experience in children aged 4-10. I feel confident in tutoring Biology to degree level, all science to GCSE, maths GCSE, English to GCSE, Geography GCSE and all primary school subjects.
