Hi I`m Ian, a passionate and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher for the last 28 years and as well as this I have been a Tutor for the last 15. I have been fortunate to be able to teach a wide variety of students so I have a wealth of experience in understanding the issues that any and all students have with the work and importantly I have tried and tested strategies to overcome these issues. I have taught Chemistry through all levels at GCSE and also both AQA and OCR A levels to A* level.

Availability: I will always do my best to be available tor students and find a regular set time and day for sessions does work out the best. But I am aware that life doesn`t always run to our schedules and will look to accommodate any changes or requests.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have taught in High school in the North of England becoming Head of Year and then a Head of Science. I have also taught Chemistry in a specialized Sixth form college for a number of years dealing with all the depth and detail of the A level courses. To ensure I stayed relevant with the GCSE`s and in tune with the upcoming students I have been marking GCSE Exams for the past 7 years.
