Alix is a highly qualified, flexible teacher and tutor. She takes the time to assess each student`s strengths and weaknesses, and tailors her teaching to their individual needs and goals.

Experience: Alix has six years` experience of teaching languages in secondary comprehensive and private schools and is a previous Head of Department; she currently teaches part-time at a sixth-form college, as well as examining A Level literature and translation, and has recently published a guide to a German A Level set text. As a result she is very familiar with most of the texts and films for German A Level. In 2018, three of her (non-native) A Level students achieved the coveted A* grade, and all students achieved or exceeded their expected grade.

Alix offers French and Russian to (I)GCSE, and German at all levels, including (I)GCSE, A Level, IB, and Pre-U, as well as Oxbridge interview preparation. Please get in touch if you`d like to know more about her academic background and qualifications.
