I am an English literature graduate from Warwick University with a masters degree. I believe that tutoring should be adapted to the individual personality and needs of the pupil and that learning for younger children should be fun and accessible. I use `trugs` card games (teaching reading using games) to help with phonics for younger children up to about 11 and have a working knowledge of the GCSE and Alevel exam boards, specifically AQA, OCR and Edexcel. I have been DBS checked.

Availability: I have flexible hours as a freelance writer and journalist.

Experience: I have an M.A in English Literature from Warwick University and have tutored students from 7 to degree level. The last GCSE English students I worked with all received Level 8s and 9s in their English Literature and Language exams and my 11 + pupils have received places at the top London schools.
