Bonjour !

I am a 36-year-old native French speaker and I love languages, teaching, meeting and helping people.

I was born in the east of France, very close to Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium -certainly one of the reasons that made me realise when I was still quite young the importance of communication and languages.
As I learned three languages at school, I know how hard it is to learn a new language. After travelling for over 5 months across the States last year and living in England since March this year, I deeply believe that the best way to learn is total immersion...but you have to be prepared beforehand ;)

Experience: Whether you`re a student preparing for your GCSE or an adult learner preparing for your next trip in France, face-to-face is the best approach. I can help you to face and get through your difficulties, adapting myself to your personal needs and wishes, going at your own pace and preferred style of learning. I`d like to help you to improve your French and/or to pass your exam and obviously you`ll have to work for that but don`t worry, we`ll have some fun as well ! I`d like you to be happy to learn and I truly want you to love French. I will use a variety of resources (newspaper or magazine articles, songs, podcasts, books` extracts, videos...) for the sessions, and will be happy to tailor them to your interests. I myself love cinema, art, music, literature, sports, travel, nature...

Being able to speak another language is really rewarding and also stimulating for the brain. It is a way to be curious, open-minded and learn about another culture than your own. And if you`re travelling, it gives you a feeling of confidence and freedom as well.

I’ve been working as a French teacher since I`ve been in England (including at a part time bilingual French school “123 Soleil” in Amersham) and I`m DBS checked.

I prefer to teach you in your environment and can come to you (home, office or quiet café).
