I am a very warm, positive and encouraging teacher and am particularly skilled at engaging with pupils and improving their levels of confidence. Whilst I especially love English, I am able to tutor all primary school subjects and 11+ exam preparation. As well as having qualified teacher status, I have a degree in psychology.

After a recent tutoring session, I received the following text from the mum:
"Thank you for today. Sorry E was in such a grump when you got here today! I think the fact that she was so cheery and happy when you left speaks volumes for all you are doing. She`s had a great afternoon and really raring to go for her exams this week. Thanks again. N"

Availability: Please check with me for availability. I am available some weekday evenings, but the times may vary, as well as possibly weekends. However, I can be flexible. I have more availability in the school holidays.

Experience: I am a qualified primary school teacher and taught year 4 in a local state school for two years. I taught in a private school where my main focus was English, particularly grammar and comprehension. I also taught a range of subjects to all year groups, from 1 - 6, as well as exam prep in year 6. The school is known for their success at grammar school entry.
I have my own company, where I write and deliver a variety of training sessions in schools for teachers, support staff, pupils and parents.
