I currently teach secondary physics, chemistry and biology at GCSE. I also teach physics and maths at A-level. I have 8 years teaching experience. I have also been an examiner for AQA and OCR. I have experience teaching for the AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards and very much up to date with the new curriculum for this year.
I have a degree in physics with astrophysics. I also have a masters in Physics with Astrophysics and currently doing a Astrophysics PhD.
I provide students with a wide range of past paper questions, model answers and completed sets of revision notes. I also help students to gain top marks in their exam questions and give bespoke advise regarding exam answer expectations.
With the use of these methods students who may be lacking in confidence build knowledge and exam technique to improve their grades considerably.
Within the first session, I like to get to know my students and their particular needs. We highlight strengths and weakness and how I can best support their learning. We then put together a plan or sequence of lessons that are tailored to that student and I am very flexible with subject content.
Within the classroom or online, I am a very caring teacher who is patient and friendly.

Availability: Afternoons, Evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have been teaching physics, Chemistry and biology for 8 years, plus one year in training.
I also lecture physics and astronomy at colleges universities for over 10 years.
I have taught AS and A-level physics for that amount of time. I have extensive experience and knowledge with OCR, AQA and Edexcel. I can teach detailed lessons, build confidence with subject knowledge and go through exam papers with the student. My mathematics knowledge is very good and can also teach maths or help with maths within physics or as a stand alone course.
