Hola, I’m Susana — a native Spanish speaker from Spain, qualified teacher (QTS), and experienced GCSE, A-Level and university Spanish tutor based in the UK.
I specialise in structured academic Spanish tuition that helps students build confidence, fluency, and strong exam performance in a calm and supportive environment.
Alongside my language teaching qualifications, I also hold postgraduate qualifications in psychology and coaching psychology, which strongly inform my teaching approach and help students feel more confident and motivated in their learning.
I teach online via Zoom and work with:
• GCSE students aiming to improve grades and speaking confidence
• A-Level students aiming for high grades (including A/A*)
• University students preparing for oral exams and advanced Spanish
• Adult learners seeking structured and enjoyable Spanish lessons

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with QTS and a native Spanish speaker from Spain, with extensive experience teaching Spanish across the UK education system. I have taught Spanish in secondary school settings and now specialise in online Spanish tuition for GCSE, A-Level, university students and adult learners.

My teaching experience includes supporting students with grammar, speaking exam preparation, writing accuracy, reading comprehension, listening skills, vocabulary development and confidence-building. I particularly enjoy helping students who feel anxious, overwhelmed or unsure in Spanish to become more fluent, accurate and confident.

I have experience teaching both 1:1 and small groups, and I adapt my lessons carefully to each student’s level, learning style and academic goals. My lessons are structured, supportive and academically focused, combining clear grammar teaching with conversational practice and exam technique.
