With 12 years of experience as an English teacher at three inner-city London secondary schools, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to both KS3 and KS4 English. Specialising in the GCSE AQA specification, I have an insider’s understanding of the exam structure and requirements, having worked as an examiner for AQA for two years. This experience allows me to offer targeted, high-quality tuition that helps students excel in both English Language and Literature.

When teaching KS3, my focus is on developing key skills such as analytical, evaluative, and creative writing. This preparation ensures that students are confident and well-equipped to tackle the challenges they will face in KS4, setting them up for success.

I have high expectations for my students and am committed to helping them achieve their best. Homework will be set, including extended writing tasks on texts, which must be completed on time and to the highest standard.
