I am currently a medical student at the University of St Andrews. I studied at the Latymer School and have had experience tutoring many children within the school as well as those of all ages outside the working environment, individually and within groups. I have over 300 hours teaching experience and have been tutoring extensively for over 6 years.
Exams are a stressful time where students may find it hard to juggle many topics and keep up with new information, the new specifications have show just how important exam technique is.
I believe students learn best when superficially daunting concepts are broken down into small chunks of information that are easier to digest. These smaller chunks can be pieced together by the pupil to allow them to understand the inner workings of the subject.

Doing questions regularly to reinforce your learning is integral, so any skills gained will be tested in exam practise to see how pupils can also apply their skills. Giving pupils enough space and allowing them to get things wrong is something that will also inevitably lead to results as pupils go through their learning process.

All this will hopefully ensure that ultimately, in the exam, the pupil can remain calm under pressure using their expertise to approach all questions with confidence.

Experience: Over six years tutoring experience throughout various capacities of students ages 4-20 years old. I am also proficient in teaching students with special needs, such as dyslexia and ASD, having taught in special needs schools in the UK and abroad.
