Information about Danyaal
CAMBRIDGE MATHS STUDENT available for 1-to-1 online tuition for mathematics:
My name is Danyaal and I am a first year undergraduate studying Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, arguably the most prestigious, competitive and demanding maths course in the world. During my school years, I have achieved many awards and feats relating to maths, aside from getting accepted into Cambridge. These include:
- Taking part in the National Team Maths Challenge for my Sixth Form and helping them qualify to the final round of the competition for the first time in our history
- Qualifying for the British Mathematical Olympiad twice, for which I had to be within the top 500 mathematicians in my age group within the whole of the country.
- Being invited to a series of lectures run by the Royal Institution of Mathematics in Year 9.
With these accomplishments and with A*s in Maths and Further Maths, my experience and knowledge in the field of mathematics is strong. With my knowledge, I hope to teach and help people who are struggling in this subject achieve the best grades possible.
I plan to teach efficiently but also create a friendly environment. One of the most important parts of teaching is reassuring the student that no question is stupid or invalid, as in my experience, many students in school may be too scared to ask a question and hence fall behind. I want to make sure that my students are not shy in this regard and they should ask as many questions to reassure themselves of the content, so they can achieve the best grades.
I would also say I am a friendly and talkative person. There is a certain stereotype where people who study maths at a higher level are not very cooperate and quite `nerdy`. I have to admit, I had to be a bit of a nerd to get to where I am today, however this does not mean that I`m not approachable. I want to interact with my students not only as their teacher but as their friend as the rapport between student and teacher is essential if we want to achieve the highest grade possible.
