Information about Anne

Having studied and worked in France for 15 years, I have spent half of my adult life speaking, listening to and writing French on a daily basis. I have a degree in French and Historical Studies and a PGCE as well as a library qualification.

Although total immersion is a great way to learn a language, I know that I would never have improved if I hadn`t had a solid grounding in French vocabulary and grammar - the building blocks of the language - before going to live in France.

My aim as a tutor, is to identify the student`s needs, to start from where they are, to build confidence and give plenty of practice and a good basic knowledge of grammar.

Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday 6-8.30 p.m.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9 a.m.-12 noon

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: Teacher of French in middle school.
Tutoring at GCSE level.
Teaching an adult evening class.
A level, and degree level qualifications, plus 15 years residence in France (see above).
