I am an experienced tutor who has 1000 hours of tutoring experience. I have been tutoring for the past two years. I can tutor in Maths, English, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and History and I have experience with exam preparation as well.

I achieved  A star, A star, A at A level. The two A stars coming both in Maths and further maths.  At Igcse I obtained 7 A stars, with an A star in maths. My lessons are fun filled and engaging and critically, progress at the student’s pace. I know the syllabus of by heart for the all the subjects mentioned, so I know what the examiners are looking for. I also know the syllabus changes to subjects and even with the subjects being phased in I know the qualification there as well and have a lot of experience teaching it.

I am currently a student at UCL and so tutoring allows me to keep my maths fresh in the memory. I achieved an A star in both maths and further maths at A level and an A star at Igcse. During last years application season to universities I was offered the chance to attend an interview at Oxford to read maths after having passed a rigorous maths exam beforehand.

I have completed IGCSEs and A-levels within the past 3 years. I am, therefore, freshly equipped with a deep academic knowledge and tips for exams that can develop the skills and confidence needed for students to achieve their academic goals.

I have over 1000 hours of teaching experience, having worked in a south London school as a volunteer, having taught Maths, Chemistry, Physics and English at Gcse level in a private capacity.


The Sessions:

Before the session, it would be helpful if you could let me know what you would like to cover. At the start, I will give you a topic overview and then we can do some exam questions to find out which areas need more work and to develop a good exam technique. I will try to be enthusiastic and make the session enjoyable so that you will be more engaged and therefore grasp the concepts better.

I am an enthusiastic and an approachable tutor and am looking for students who are passionate about learning! It does not matter what grades my potential students are getting now. I will make sure he/she improves with better critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

My students in private tuition make rapid progress as we work through concepts together. I am one of those tutors who asks my students the tough and incisive questions that enable my students to think about the problems for themselves. This has the benefit of them gaining the key questioning skill. As we work through to exam time I think it is best to get the maximum amount of practice in due course with exam past papers. The tutor can then facilitate where the pupil is making errors and then correct said errors.
