I am a qualified primary school teacher and have been teaching for over 20 years. I offer tuition for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 for English, Maths and 11+.

I love teaching and tutoring and am passionate about helping students of all abilities to succeed. To achieve this, I tailor my tutoring style around the needs and learning styles of your child. I use encouragement and praise to build confidence and self-belief so that your child enjoys learning. By using this approach, I’m able to support students who have fallen behind and bring them back to age expected, especially in Maths.

I am an experienced and successful 11+ tutor. I have an excellent pass rate and have recently supported students to pass the entrance exams for the Wirral schools, Upton Hall, Liverpool Blue Coat and St Anselms.

Availability: Weekday evenings from 4:15 and weekends in the mornings

I will be available for tuition on Wednesdays or Thursdays starting from the end of September.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with over twenty years experience, including seven years in school Senior Leadership teams. I have taught Year 6 for many years, so I am very experienced at preparing children for SATs, and I have also taught across the entire primary age. My teaching experience includes whole class teaching as well as small group and 1:1 interventions and I have taught children with a wide range of abilities and Special Educational Needs, including Gifted and Talented.
