Information about Lexy

I am a qualified `Outstanding` Head of Department English teacher who has taught at a range of schools, from prestigious international schools to specialist schools. I teach both English language and literature at KS3 and KS4 level, in addition to Psychology at both GCSE and A-Level.

I have been a qualified teacher for five years, and at my most recent teaching position, the department I ran got the highest results in the school`s 60 year history.

Availability: Tuesday Evenings: 17:30-18:30, 18:30-19:30
Thursday Evenings: 18:30-19:30

Experience: An `Outstanding` English teacher, I offer tutoring in English Literature and Language to GCSE level, and Psychology up to degree level. I can guide students along a bespoke GCSE course to achieve their potential, or be on hand to assist students with homework or create sessions based on their school work. I have experience in teaching students on the autistic spectrum and with socio-behavioural difficulties, particularly those who have struggled with acclimatising to school.

Lexy is currently tutoring my 12 year old son for KS3 English and has been nothing but professional from the moment I contacted her.

She is extremely knowledgeable, organised and enthusiastic. She took the initiative to contact my son`s school and got hold of their yearly course content so that his lessons would be parallel with his school work. This stood out to me and really conveyed her true work ethic. My son says she`s "an excellent teacher" and enjoys his weekly tutorials.

Overall, I am very pleased to have finally found a teacher who knows how to teach and have recommended Lexy`s services to members of my family. I look forward to seeing how my son progresses and with Lexy as a tutor, I have no doubt he will.
