Ruth

I am a qualified teacher of Science and Maths, with experience of teaching at middle and high school level. I also have international experience, having taught and tutored for 9 years in Canada. I graduated from the University of Teesside with a degree in Chemistry. My Postgraduate Certificate in Education was gained at the University of Manchester.

I have a wide range of interests both inside and outside of the education sphere, having taken courses in music and humanities with the Open University. I play the cello and love to sing in/direct choirs.

I believe my range of experience helps me in finding ways for students to understand concepts which they find difficult. I enjoy working with individuals and never tire of seeing that moment of understanding in a student`s eyes - the lightbulb moment!

Availability: Evenings between 5pm and 8pm
