I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor and teacher in English Literature and Language, I have experience in teaching KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, and the International Baccalaureate.

I love building a rapport with my students to find out what best works for them so as to adapt content which suits individual needs in order to support, stretch and encourage them.

Experience: I have worked in education for several years. I started as a teaching assistant in an inner London state school and was quickly promoted to a key worker for vulnerable children. My main role was to use technology to support vulnerable students with remote learning during the pandemic. Due to my dedication and skill in running interventions, my school funded my teacher training. I taught in London on a full timetable while gaining my qualification and graduated with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with a distinction.

I then went on to work at an international school in Ecuador for 6 months where I was the lead English teacher. Due to the increasing social and political danger I had to return to the UK and I now tutor privately online and in person.

I am very familiar with the National English Curriculum for KS3. I have also taught using the AQA, Edexcel, IGCSE and International Baccalaureate exam boards and am very experienced in adapting and creating lessons to support a diverse range of high and low ability students to meet assessment objectives.
