Hi everyone, I’m a qualified English teacher, originally from the north west of England. I came to London ten years ago for my degree in English Literature and Linguistics, and have been working in secondary schools ever since.

Availability: Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5-8. Saturdays 10-2.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I’m an experienced English teacher in a secondary school in Brent, where I work with students aged between 11-18. I teach English Literature and English Language, covering all aspects of English at key stages 3 and 4 - and I try to do this in a way that creates a lifelong love of reading and writing. Before I became a teacher I was a teaching assistant, so I also have experience working closely with students with special educational needs. I’m happy to help with existing homework as well as to create lessons to guide students through whatever stage they may be at.
