I currently teach A Level chemistry at a large sixth form college. I am a keen scientist and a passionate teacher with an extensive knowledge of the KS3, GCSE, and A level curricula, having previously taught at all key stages. I love using my passion to help people learn; I can help you or your child to improve your grades, understanding and enjoyment of science.
I have a first class master’s degree in chemistry and a PGCE in secondary science, both obtained from the University of Manchester, so you can be confident that I have in-depth subject knowledge.
I am approachable, supportive and empathetic. I am patient and can explain concepts in a variety of ways to suit your needs.

I will tailor make your tutoring sessions to meet your needs, but in general I will break the concepts down for you into small chunks and practise relevant exam questions. We will focus on deconstructing questions and applying key knowledge and skills. I have extensive resources to make sure you have everything you need to achieve your potential. I am a friendly, confident person who loves to make learning fun and effective.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings and some weekends.
