Hi, I am a qualified teacher with 12 years teaching experience in both primary and secondary (as a science teacher) schools. I have QTS and previously gained a Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford. Last year, I completed a Masters in Psychology (Distinction), which have given me further knowledge of how memory and learning work. Students and parents have always been very happy with my service and I generate lots of business through word-of-mouth. Please feel free to contact me for any advice or to find out more about how I work (it differs depending on who and what subject I am teaching). I look forward to hearing from you.
Availability: Some midweek evening availability as well as weekends.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have taught in prep, secondary and primary schools. I am now training as a SENDCo and manage individual and group interventions. I previously ran 11+ group courses during holiday periods and have carried out individual tuition on and off for many children over the years which I really enjoyed.

My son has been having tutoring with Dan for a few weeks now and it has been going really well. Dan has built a good rapport with my son. Dan always arrives when he says he will and has been very reliable. My son feels comfortable being able to talk to Dan if he is not sure about a concept.

I am impressed with Dan`s approach and he has quickly built up a rapport with my son who looks forwards to his tutoring. Dan has developed a clear and concise development program which is achievable and not too heavy.In addition Dan is extremely reliable and arrives on time as expected - highly recommended.
