Very experienced and well qualified Head of History and English. . Consistently rated as outstanding during OFSTED inspections. Accredited Examiner with AQA, CIE and Edexcel. Proven track record of delivering above target grades at KS3, GCSE and A level and of working with tutor`s teachers/parents to identify and develop specific areas with view to getting higher grades and better prepared, more confident students at exam time. Patient, student centred and with a good sense of humour, I believe in making tuition as enjoyable an experience as possible (!) while still delivering above expected progress and a much more secure, relaxed learner. I know the CIE/AQA/Edexcel QP and MS inside out and can generally bump up grades by 2 levels depending on circumstances. Prefer online students where possible.
