Information about Emma
I am an experienced primary school teacher, having taught for over 10 years. I have taught from Y1 through to Y6. I like to make my tutoring sessions as fun and interesting as possible for my pupils, and plan lessons to the individual needs and learning styles for each child. I take into account children`s interests to make lessons as engaging as possible and have a calm and friendly manner, which helps children feel at ease when working with me.

Experience: I have a variety of tutoring experience and have previously helped children with specific targets in mind, such as preparation for the phonics screening check, Y2 SATs, Y6 SATs and entrance exams/11+ for the local grammar schools. I have had great results with children getting into multiple schools, which I am very proud of! I also provide general tutoring for Maths and English for Y1 - Y6.
