I am currently training to become a psychotherapeutic counsellor, I have also previously been a generic advocate for young, vulnerable people in Southampton and Bournemouth residential home settings with Advent Advocacy. I also created, designed and led a campaign called United. Aiming to provide advocacy within a school setting and being present to support students both remotely and face to face. I am a fantastic pastoral worker and excel at working with students with educational, physical or mental needs.

I have exclusively worked with young people 11-25 for my entire career.

Experience: I am experienced in teaching Creative Media Production BTEC/CTEC across levels 1, 2 and 3, A Level Film Studies and A Level Media Studies as well as Level 1 and GCSE English.
I taught Post 16 education for 9 years and have developed a teaching style that aims to empower the student and allow them to take ownership of the work they complete.

I was a Youth Worker with No Limits a Southampton based charity, I began this work as the Social Action and change worker. I then transitioned from this to the Early Help Team where I delivered sexual health, drugs and alcohol awareness sessions and lead open drop ins and 1-1 services in various schools and colleges around Southampton. I also lead a respite group for young people with additional needs as well as second on a Youth Ambassadors volunteer group.

In 2018 I was shortlisted for an Inclusive Companies award for my work as level 2 CTEC Creative Media Studies course leader, teacher of level 3 BTEC Creative media, leader of the Gay Straight Alliance, department champion of SEND, and member of the E&D board for Alton College, pastoral support tutor and residential trip organiser.
