I have been a private tutor since 2007. I specialise in teaching students who have SEN, or are excluded, or who are difficult to teach, or have anxiety, or school phobia. I also help with home schooling.
After completing my B.A. in English Literature and History, I began tutoring and teaching consecutively in both Primary and Secondary Schools in the Isle of Man. I became adept at instructing the tuition of a variety of subjects up to GCSE level and A levels. It was here that I began my career as a Child Actor Set Tutor, which I did from 2007 to 2015, working with, amongst others, Milo Parker, star of The Durrells.
After moving to Greater London in 2016, I returned to tutoring full-time. During my years of tutoring, I’ve successfully delivered English Language and Literature, English as a Second Language, History, Geography, Physical Education, Religious Studies, Science (Foundation) Maths (Foundation), and ICT, to both primary and secondary students in all settings across South West London and Surrey. Some of my students have been exceptionally gifted; others have not quite discovered their potential. I have taught students from diverse backgrounds and abilities, from independent to public to state schools. I am a warm and capable, highly qualified and experienced teacher. I’m very adaptable to teaching at each child’s pace, level and aptitude while giving them that little extra help and encouragement that they need to progress swiftly.
I specialise in preparing GCSE and A- level English Language and Literature students for their assessments and exams. I teach across all exam boards - AQA, Edexcel, OCR, iGCSE and others. I usually travel to student`s homes to teach. I have also used public libraries to teach in. I charge £40 an hour. My students tend to excel in their assessments and examinations. Many of my students have achieved As and A*s, and the lowest result they`ve had is a C.

Availability: Sessions from 10.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday.
