I am a conscientious English teacher and Head of Media Studies currently working in a London Secondary school. I have experience teaching English at GCSE and A Level to a variety of exam boards’ specifications (OCR, Eduqas, Edexcel and AQA), as well as preparing adult learners for courses like the Cambridge Proficiency qualification. Before teaching, I worked in publishing and then as a TA in SEN schools and a secondary school. Due to my varied experience I am extremely flexible when it comes to providing the learning you or your child needs, helping simply to pass exams or to nurture independent thought and a lifetime enjoyment of learning.

I hold a BA in English and Related Literature from the University of York. I achieved an A with ‘outstanding’ practice in my PGCE Secondary (English) from UCL’s Institute of Education, currently the top institution in the world for educational training and research. I am continuing my educational research by completing my MA English Education at the Institute.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching because I relish helping people achieve their full potential. I would be honoured to be a part of your or your child’s learning.
