Information about Wing
With a PhD in theoretical physics, I have taught physics and maths at a university for many years. My younger son achieved four A*s in A-level physics, chemistry, maths and further maths in 2023 while my older son obtained three A*s in A-level physics, maths and further maths in 2022.
Physics is a fascinating subject, but sometimes physics concepts can be difficult for students to grasp. I am here to give you a good grasp on all sorts of topics in the GCSE, A-level or IB curriculum and strengthen your problem-solving skills in the exam.
Solving physical problems is not just about memorising equations and plugging in numbers, but it can be seen as finding an elegant way to describe a physical phenomenon or process and making correct predictions. I aspire to arouse your enthusiasm in physics by appreciating and exploring with you the working principles of the elegant universe such as how the fundamental particles interact, to how gravity keeps the planets in orbit. I believe my lessons can help you gain confidence in physics and more importantly, understand the ins and outs of the exam and get a good grade.
