From a young age I was passionate about film and theatre. I was always a hardworking pupil who was able to balance school and extra curricular activities very well. As a student I was diligent, focused and always knew what I hoped to achieve in life. In Media Studies I was in the top percentile in Scotland that year.

I moved from Edinburgh to London for undergraduate university where I studied Film and Television Production at the world renowned Westminster Film School. Upon graduating I begun working freelance as a camera assistant on a wide variety of films, commercials and music videos.

Since January 2019 I have been studying for a Masters in Cinematography at the industry leading National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield. Graduates include Oscar winners Roger Deakins and Nick Park. I am due to complete my studies here at the end of 2020.

Experience: I have delivered workshops for my university in camera assisting and cinematography. At a high school level I have provided advice and occasional tutoring for a few students over the years. This is my first formal tutoring experience.

I make it my goal to encourage passion and excellence in my students. Speaking from personal experience, you have to be excited by what you`re learning and unfortunately shared classroom learning doesn`t always unlock that. By sharing my excitement and knowledge I hope to instil a genuine interest for the subject.
