I am a Spanish 23 years old girl,who has passion for teaching languages. I consider myself an encouraging and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys teaching and sharing my knowledge with my pupils. Also, I am interested in Educational research (teaching methods and students learning), especially, in the field of Second Language Acquisition.

I have more than 7 years of experience in one-to-one and small groups tuition, so I am able to teach Spanish to students of a wide range of ages and with different academic interests (students who want to complement the Spanish lessons they take at the school/university students who want to prepare themselves for specific examinations and students who want to study Spanish just for pleasure).

I think that the key of my students` excellent results is the way I conceive education and tutoring. I`m convinced that learning a foreign language is a wonderful process that enables pupils to discover a new language, a new culture and a new way of living. In order to make this process successful, I strongly believe that tutees must be motivated and, as a tutor, rewarding their effort and progress is the best way to achieve it.

Furthermore, when learning a foreign language, tutors should strike a balance between the importance of assimilating linguistic structures (grammar and lexicon) and the necessity of using that language to communicate and to interact with other people. It is obvious that every student has different necessities and priorities, and the best thing of private tuition is that I can adapt every lesson to the tutee`s preferences.


I have good communication skills gained through the experience in my two Degree Final Dissertations` oral defences with High Honours. Also, I got an Honours Secondary Education Certificate in 2009 and I have different digital publications in an Open Source Library and in an Online Journal of Linguistics. In the near future, I am going to publish a didactic book about Spanish idioms and sayings, designed particularly for foreign students.

To conclude, I have knowledge of music and piano, and I love to travel around the world, to discover different cultures and to learn different languages

Experience: - Modern Language Assistant in "West-Walsall E-Act Academy". This job involves: working together with the Spanish teacher and also independently preparing students for oral examinations and bringing Spanish culture to the classroom (September 2014 - May 2015).

- Spanish Teacher in "Costa de Valencia, Spanish Academy" (Spain). This job involves: design course and teaching a summer course of Spanish as a Second Language for Italian students. (July 2014)

- Internship period as a Teacher of Spanish as a Second Language in the University "Cardenal Cisneros" of Alcalá de Henares (Spain). This job involves: class observation course design and teaching an intensive course of Spanish as a Second Language for Japanese students. (January - March 2014).
